Organic wool ... this stuff is a dream come true! Buttery-soft, the hand knit soakers almost have the feel of rich chenille fabric. And not only does the organic wool feel luxurious, it is 100% chemical free, sheared from sheep raised on an organic farm in Michigan. You can be assured that the garment your baby is wearing has had minimal impact on the planet, and will have no chemical impact on him or her. The wool is cleaned using only salt and water, and is spun on an antique spinning mule. If your child is allergic to wool I would be happy to send a small sample of this organic wool - often wool allergies come from the processing chemicals rather than the wool itself!
Knit from merino/ramboulillet wool, in your choice of three undyed colors - a creamy natural, a warm light grey, and a medium grey (the light grey is made by mixing wool from the light sheep and the dark sheep), these soakers are breathable so your baby stays cool and rash free even on the hottest summer days. This yarn is thicker than the merino wool I use for my standard diaper covers, and it makes a much denser fabric. This means that the soakers are much more water repellent ... 
I'm sure there are a few babies out there who could soak through this cover, but probably not very many!
Sizes run larger than the standard Green Way Wool Covers and Longies. Please check out our Size Chart as measurements are the most accurate way to judge all sizes except Small. Large and X-Large are similar, but XLarge is stretchier and more square.
